In 'Stranger Than Fiction,' Will Ferrell as Harold Crick, Emma Thompson as Karen Eiffel, and Maggie Gyllenhaal as Ana Pascal star in a story where Harold, an obsessive IRS auditor, begins hearing a mysterious narrator's voice describing his life in real time. When the voice mentions his impending death, Harold seeks help from literature professor Jules Hilbert (Dustin Hoffman) to determine if he's in a comedy or tragedy.
