What happens when a zombie starts thinking? Nicholas Hoult stars as R, an unusual zombie who begins to regain his humanity after eating the brains of a teenage boy and absorbing his memories and love for Julie (Teresa Palmer). As R protects Julie from his fellow zombies, including his best friend M (Rob Corddry), their unlikely romance begins to transform both the living and the undead.
