The legend of Jason Voorhees begins! Five years after the massacre at Camp Crystal Lake, a new group of counselors arrives to reopen a training center nearby. Led by Ginny Field (Amy Steel) and her boyfriend Paul Holt (John Furey), the young counselors including Jeff (Bill Randolph), Sandra (Marta Kober), and Ted (Stu Charno) think they're safe from the camp's deadly history. But Jason Voorhees has survived and is ready to continue his mother's murderous legacy, stalking the counselors one by one with his signature burlap sack and deadly weapons.
