Some enchanted evening, you may see a stranger! Set during World War II in the South Pacific, this beloved Rodgers and Hammerstein musical follows Navy nurse Nellie Forbush (Mitzi Gaynor) who falls in love with French plantation owner Emile de Becque (Rossano Brazzi). Meanwhile, young Marine Lieutenant Joe Cable (John Kerr) becomes enchanted with Tonkinese girl Liat (France Nuyen) on the mysterious island of Bali Ha'i.
