In 'A Walk to Remember' (2002), Mandy Moore as Jamie Sullivan and Shane West as Landon Carter fall in love. Landon is forced to participate in community service activities after a prank gone wrong. He enlists the help of Jamie, the daughter of Reverend Sullivan (Peter Coyote), to excel in his activities, and the two fall in love. However, after it's revealed that Jamie has leukemia, the two lovers must come to terms with the meaning of love.
