"I am not a gun." In the small town of Rockwell, Maine during the height of Cold War paranoia, young Hogarth Hughes (Eli Marienthal) discovers a giant metal robot (Vin Diesel) who fell from space. As the boy teaches the Giant about humanity and heroism, government agent Kent Mansley (Christopher McDonald) becomes determined to destroy what he perceives as a threat.
