They came for the gold. They stayed for the adventure! Con artists Miguel (Kenneth Branagh) and Tulio (Kevin Kline) mistakenly acquire a map to the legendary city of gold, El Dorado. After stowing away on Hernán Cortés's (Jim Cummings) ship and enduring a perilous journey, they discover the fabled city where they are mistaken for gods by the inhabitants, including the beautiful Chel (Rosie Perez) and the wise Chief Tannabok (Edward James Olmos).
